And Wisdom just went away....

I normally don't talk about the political world but sometimes a person needs to make a stand and speak up. I'm fifty years old and I believe that I have been around long enough to form and opinion.

I was raised in a Protestant, Republican home. When I was born John F. Kennedy was President. As a boy when the teacher asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up, the consensus was to be President of the United States. I believed that the United States was the greatest country in the world. My folks braved seas and made their way from New York City thru Stanton Island like all of the Scottish, Irish immigrant's and made their way down to the Kentucky hills to start a farm. I had the opportunity to go to school and to travel abroad to serve in the Military. I found out that not everyone thinks that America is the best. I believe that we are the best but some things have shaken my belief to the core.

I use to sit around and listen to my elders as they watched the news. I tried to understand what was going on. I heard about John F. Kennedy being assassinated. I heard about his Brother Bobby being killed as well. I had Uncles that had fought in Europe and in the Pacific Theater during World War 2. My Father was in the Korean War or conflict, which ever way you want to think of it. I also had Uncles that fought in the Vietnam war. I heard terrible things about that war and even worse things about what people were saying about our soldiers when they came back. I knew that soldiers were coming back that were being called baby killers. I just couldn't even fathom that idea.

 How could someone kill a little innocent baby? 

I learned in school about horrible men that had killed or ordered the killing of millions of people.

To take the life of one person in cold blood is incredibly horrible but hundreds, thousands, and millions boggles the mind!

I read about a country the other day that totally enraged me! 

This country is the richest and most technically advanced countries in the world. There are hospitals in almost every major city. Militarily it is the most powerful country in the world. Yet with all of those positive things the disgrace is that since 1973 they have slaughtered well over 54 million babies! Innocent babes that will never be able to enjoy a smile, laughter, dance, art, a good home cooked meal. Now, guess who that country is? You will never believe it in a million years! They have killed more babies then Adolf Hitler! More then Sadam Hussein! More than Kaddafi!

Who is it? Don't believe me. Check these facts!

It's America!

I hang my head in shame. We have killed these babies because they were inconvenient! Because we didn't have the money to take care of them? We didn't have the time from our career? Our Schedule?

Yet there are millions of couples all over this land that are begging to care for a little baby to call their own.

What have we done? We will be judged for our sins. Maybe not in this life but there is an almighty Judge who will not be swayed by the blood drenched law that is called Roe Verses Wade.

God be merciful to us who have allowed  this atrocity against mankind to go on since 1973.

We have sinned against a righteous and Holy God. We broke his law. "Thou shalt NOT kill."

I will never forget when my first wife and I were with child as we sat in the lobby of a Doctors office in Jacksonville, Florida. We heard this young prostitute that was setting there smoking a cigarette while with child and bragging how that she would be back to work in no time as soon as they abort this baby. 

I looked at my wife and she looked at me in horror at what this prostitute was saying! One lady asked her, "Is this your first abortion?" The prostitute looked at her and smiled as she answered, "Shit! This is my fifth in two years!" Then she took another drag on her cigarette.

We have become a barbarian nation that has no conscience or concern to our actions. 

This reminds me of other nations that have fallen in the past.

Israel has fallen before. Egypt have fallen before. Rome has fallen before! Will America fall because of her sin?

How is it that we forget so soon the power of an almighty God. We actually believe that we built this country on our puny wills? God gives us the strength, the knowledge, the power, the will, the persistence, the breath to do and to be!

Believe it or not there is a blessing when we serve God and a Curse when we forget him.

There are several warnings to us as people in God's Word.

  We as Christians need to humble ourselves and pray and seek God's Face and turn from our wicked ways.
  Maybe you are saying to yourselves, "But I didn't kill any babies! It wasn't my fault!" We are allowing it! We allow our representatives and our senators to pass this bill. We allowed our judicial system to fail! We as American's should call our Representatives and our Senators and tell them that this MUST stop! Here! Now!
  For one time in your life! Take action! Get involved!
  I'm not saying to do anything illegal because that would not please God. I'm saying to call your politicians and leverage them for this to stop!

When enough is enough.

So, what is a real man? What is a real woman? It has come to my attention that the modern male has changed to a more feminine gender. Why is that? Is it because that we have been overwhelmed by the media to be a more caring, tender, loving person? Is it because that we have been taught that we should moisturize and exfoliate? Is it because that it is not politically correct to speak ones mind? I believe that women are looking for a real man to take charge and to be confident. Although, now it is of public opinion confidence is now perceived as being cocky. I went to an interview once and was asked the question. The question was, "Why do I believe that I can do this job?" I answered confidently,"Because I have done this job with great success!" This is like asking Super Man why that that he believed that he could be a super hero! He has done it before! He has flown without an airplane! He is bullet proof! He has lazer eyes and Xray Vision. How could he NOT be Super Man?

Now there is an ugly side that we try to sweep under the rug. When is enough, enough? When does being a confident macho man turn into being a pompous ugly bully?

Let me say, that it is NEVER okay to strike a woman! We can also injure them with our language our way of isolating and psychologically harming them with our intimidation. If you are the type to bully, you know what I'm talking about. 

This is a dangerous road that we travel when we harm anyone in this fashion. I know, a lot of women just jumped on the band wagon but let me say this that there are women who use ways to harm men as well.

Our words can be used as weapons of destruction. Remember that once you say something it can never be retrieved. You can heal the wounds but the scars stay forever!

  I often hear people say that they love someone but they never show it in deed. I question the love of a couple when I never see any love shown. People in love have a look. There is a tenderness. There is a familiarness about them. A touch, A kiss, A wink.
  Many guys say in boast, "Well, I'm the man of the house and what I say is law!" I think that we have misunderstood what God wanted us to do when it came to the flow chart of the family. In terms of a husband and a wife, God put man as the head of the family. I know that this is not politically correct but God is not politically correct! During the creation of the world, God made Adam and then he gave him a help meet. He created Eve, the first woman and the mother of mankind from the rib of Adam. This is according to the writings of Moses in the first book of the Pentateuch in the Bible, Genesis.

    Believe it or not the Bible speaks more about a whorish and brawling women but it is hard to find a good woman in these times. It is the same for women who are trying to find a good loving husband. 
    I saw a post on Facebook where a lady was stating that Men should have a fax with them like a CARFAX. I commented that men are like women that we all come with baggage but some need a siren and flashing lights!
    Notice what the Apostle Paul wrote to the Church of Ephesus in Ephesians chapter 5 starting in verse 20.
    20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our LordJesus Christ; 21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. 22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
    
    
    Did you see the comparison of our wife to the Church of Christ? We as strong viral men should LOVE our wives as Christ loved the Church and Gave himself...Yes, that means that he gave the ultimate sacrifice and died for the his bride the Church. Don't you understand that when she becomes your wife that she is a part of you now. 
    When you marry, you become as one. You no longer are a part of your mother and father but have started a new family.
    Sometimes our families can try to drive a wedge between our spouses.

    Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

    I know that it so easy to fall back and live with the parents but you need to be on your own! If you cannot sustain your relationship why would you marry in the first place? I know that you love your Mom and Dad but there comes a time for a Man to grow up and be a Man. Cut the apron strings!

    
    

    I would in closing like to share one of the most beautiful passages of scripture that came from the pen of the Apostle Paul. This was a letter to the Church of Corinth. Remember that this is in the Kings English so when you see the word Charity replace it with the word, Love.

    I Corinthians Chapter 13:

    1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned , and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. 4 Charity suffereth long , and is kind ; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself , is not puffed up , 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly , seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked , thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 8Charity never faileth : but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail ; whether there be tongues, they shall cease ; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away . 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come , then that which is in part shall be done away . 11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see through a glass, darkly * ; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known . 13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

    
    

    When you marry someone ask your self this first, Do I truly Love this person? Or is it just a piece of Ass? Could you die for this person to protect them from danger? Would you take food out of your mouth and give it to this person to sustain their life? Can you live without this person? Can you leave all and only be with this person for the rest of your days??
